Description
Shatavari literally means, “having one hundred roots”, also deduced as “she who has one hundred husbands”, due to its power to maintain a healthy female reproductive system. It is the main uterine tonic in Ayurveda. It improves fertility, increases lactation, strengthens the uterus, regulates menstruation, assists in recovery post childbirth, and eases various symptoms of menopause. Shatavari root extract contains ~25% saponins.
How Shatavari regulates female hormone? Shatavari is an herb commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine to help regulate female hormones. It contains a number of compounds, such as saponins, flavonoids, and alkaloids, which have been found to have a positive effect on the female reproductive system. Specifically, it has been found to increase estrogen levels, which can help with fertility, menstrual cycle regularity, and the symptoms of menopause. Additionally, it may help to reduce the symptoms of PMS, such as mood swings, cramps, and irritability.

HOW IT WORKS?
Mechanism of action
The primary mechanism of action of sahtvari (Asparagus racemosus) on female health is its ability to regulate hormones. It is known to possess adaptogenic and anti-stress properties. It helps in balancing hormones by modulating the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, a major part of the nervous system that regulates hormone production and release. Sahtvari also helps to reduce cortisol, the stress hormone, and helps to balance hormones naturally. Additionally, sahtvari has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which can help to reduce inflammation and protect against oxidative stress. It is believed to improve fertility in women by improving ovarian function and promoting ovulation. It also increases libido and can help to improve overall sexual health.

Difficult to find high quality shatavari extract on the market but this one is really good
I have been suffering from irregular periods and cramps for a few months now. My ayurvedic doctor recommended to take shatavari powder for hormonal balance. I tried the powder but its difficult to consume as it has bitter taste. These capsules are good substitute to the powder as its easy to consume and carry.
These capsules contains extract of shatavari also called as saponins. that's why more beneficial than just powder or powder tablets or capsules. Really happy as it is more effective and priced fairly.
