Infusing Cannabis

 OUR STORY

A Jewel in The Court Of Ayurveda

The Atharva Veda, the comprehensive ancient Indian treatise that canonised the practice of Ayurveda, considers the cannabis plant to be one of the five most important herbs in the natural world. Without cannabis, it is not possible to formulate many crucial natural medicines.

In India, the use of cannabis in Ayurveda dates back to 1400-2000 BCE, the time when the Atharva Veda was written.

Cannabis is also considered to be sacred in many other religions texts, like the Zend Avesta, the holy book of the Parsis. Many ancient tribes and communities consider cannabis to be an irreplaceable entheogen that helps one access spiritual realms. In many shamanic traditions, cannabis is a herb of prime significance.

Vedi uses quality cannabis to make its 100% vegetarian Ayurvedic medicines. Since cannabis has no known toxicity (unlike pharma drugs like NSAIDS), it is safe as well as healthy. It stimulates the endocannabinoid system of the body, which contributes in our overall well-being.
