Why we use hempseed oil in our castile soaps

We are often asked why we opted for hempseed oil in our castile soaps. The reason is simple: it is really good for your skin. First of all, it comes from a plant (Cannabis sativa), which the Attarvaveda considers to be a crucial herb.
Here is what you should know: It moisturises without clogging your skin pores and is good for all skin types. Hemp oil has a comedogenic rating of zero, which simply means it won’t clog pores at all. The fatty acid content creates a protective barrier over the skin, preventing moisture loss. The omega fatty acids (3 and 9) in hempseed oil soothe dermatitis. The Journal of Dermatological Treatment, in a study published in 2005, stated that dermatitis symptoms like itchy skin and dryness reduced considerably with hempseed oil for a period of 20 weeks. Since hempseed oil is rich in anti-oxidants it prevents premature aging. If you are looking for a oil that keeps your skin in the best shape, without clogging skin pores, hempseed oil is the best bet. These are just a few of the reasons why Vedi castile soaps are rich in hempseed oil.
